Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is an American R&B and soul singer/songwriter. Apart from a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she has also been nominated as an Academy Award. It was quickly taken up by DJs who began broadcasting it to the radio. The album she released her debut, Cheers to The Autumn (2015) was produced by the Adrian Gurvitz. She signed with Warner Bros. Records. It included Rise Up, which is now a worldwide music video for social justice campaigns. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations for the album which included Best R&B Album. Her first appearance was on television series like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her film debut with Allyson Nelson on the film horror series Halloween and the sequels.
