Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she is a coach for athletes. Annie became the very first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. In addition, she is known for taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Being a sports and exercising enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and won several medals. As of 2009, she competed in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. Her height is about 5'7 and weighs approximately 70 kilograms. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit training in California in 2009. She was able to perform quite well through the first couple of competitions. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. But she did not achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's coaching she won the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. Because of her exceptional performances, she was able to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. In 2012, Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She was the first female athlete who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. Silver medals were awarded in 2014. In the year 2021 she received an award of bronze in the CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many other brands. The self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 subscribers, where she posts the videos of her family and trips as well as training diets.
