Ina Garden is a famous American book author, who has received Emmy awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. It will air for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career in writing nuclear energy policies and budgets of the White House. While she initially found the work interesting, she soon stopped her interest. Then she bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. She spent eighteen years making the business extremely profitable before selling it off before acquiring a pen to write her first book. Many magazines and cookbooks followed. Her Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous hit. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She is completely self-taught. Her easy-going approach to entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is widely known.
