Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actor, singer and songwriter. Her mother raised her within the USA she had to face many racial slurs and made her feel being unwelcome. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade when she entered a school audition. She received a lot of praise for her singing. She did not only receive the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by the critics. In the year following, she joined the ABC program Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance. An accomplished singer and producer, she's produced a single as well as an extended work. In addition, she has been a vocal advocate for LGBT issues.
